My navionics 20 dollar app on my phone works better than lakemaster's card on the lakes I fish.

Depends on the lakes! I have both and prefer Lakemaster because of the features, but some lakes are more accurate on Navionics!

I like lakemaster myself. Karl may have a point in some cases for sure.

I have only fished a handful of Texas lakes and am not extremely familiar with most of them.

I absolutely love the features Lakemaster has. I can adjust for lake level and then highlight shallow water areas as red and target depths as green.

Most of the time I have 0-5' red, 20-30' as green, so that leaves 5-20' as white and greater than 30' as blue.

Now when my 9 year old is driving the boat, he knows to stay in the blue. If we ever have an unfortunate medical emergency, I know he can use those electronics and safely navigate.

That shallow water highlight is also extremely helpful when I'm on a new lake.

I agree it isn't 100% accurate, but it usually gets me within a few feet of the hump/point I'm looking for.

Birds are set up for Lake Master, but you can run Navionics as well.
