This will be the first of four events at the Lake Fork Nights Open Team Tournaments hosted by two of my JCO team members. This is not a JCO event and does not require a membership to compete. There plan is to run these every other Saturday Night through the months of July and August if there is enough participation. That will be 5 events on 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, 8/22

$100 Cash Only (no checks) Team Entry Includes BB paying 85% back 1 in 5 with $5 of each entry to BB.

Registration will begin at the pavilion at 5:00 PM on the water front at The Minnow Bucket Marina. This will be a trailering event as in the past with a leave the ramp of choice time of 6:00 PM with all fishing ceasing at 12:00 Midnight. Anglers will have until 12:30 AM to be checked in with tournament host Sonny Russell and Bill Cooper.

This will be a 5 fish team tournament weigh in with 1 over per team, bass cannot touch 16" and must touch 24" to be weighed, if a team weighs a fish that falls into the slot the entire bag will be disqualified for this event (no exceptions). So please make every effort to stay away from the 16" mark on the Pro-Rule measuring board and make sure your 24" fish touches the 24" mark or is over 24" on the Pro-Rule measuring board. There will be a courtesy board available at the weigh in so please check accordingly. Tournament board will be a Pro-Rule.

There will be a .50 penalty for per dead fish weighed (dead fish cannot be culled in Texas, a state law) so please use ice and sure life products to ensure quality fish care.

Lake Fork Guides can compete as this is an Open event and is not a JCO affiliated event, but will be limited to one guide per team, no guide double ups.

Please share this info with your friends who would like to compete in some fun night fishing on Lake Fork.

5 lbs it was tough! 3 lbs for second! 1.07 lbs for 3rd. I expect tonight's event will be better.
