Looking to take my 4yo grandson there for some brim. Any good there? Open to other suggestions also.

Never tried Shawnee park. Bethany and celebration is a pretty good place for bluegill fishing.

Shawnee park is full of brim. You should be able to catch a ton right off the dock they have. I've only fished there once and it was last year. I saw tons of brim and only caught one bass.

Thanks! Just what I was looking for to keep him interested. At that age they lose focus so quick. I had stopped by SHAWNEE to check it out and looked.good but wanted to see if anyone ever fished it.
