There are several local fluff chuckers on TKF who fish LHL, and Dean Thomas at Slowride Guide Service in Aransas Pass (361/758-0643) is one of them. The winds and tide levels can have a huge effect on LHL, and local talent is a big help with current info. Check with the guys at Swan Point Landing (the Orvis shop in Rockport) too; they are up on what's happening at LHL.
And good luck. Make sure you take your camera.
