What the heck is this junk! Pretty solid and slimmy... Semi translucent with white dots! It's attached to dock poles/floats and flooded brush!

Lol I love when these threads pop up every year. The 1st time I saw them I was freaked the hell out too. I ran across one the size of a basketball.

Be glad you're seeing them, the water is usually very good quality in those areas.

i was flipping some brush by a boat ramp and I got hung up, wasn't paying attention due to the hissy fit I was throwing about being hung and when I pulled the stick up I just went to swing it up in the boat and the alien brain landed at my feet and the stick was no longer my issue! Yup definately made me think about pulling the ripcord.

I saw them on Conroe to, couldn't figure out what it was but saw a bunch of it/them up north.
