Hey, visiting some friends and family in Granbury and we are wanting to take the boat out and go fishing. Can anyone point me to a good area of the Lake to catch strippers or sand bass? Thanks!!

The only place I have caught them are near the power lines close to the dam end of the lake.

This The forth so if you want to fish go before dawn to striper alley (towards the dam). the lake is overloaded for the next two day with cruisers , jet skis and water skiers. Right now the lake has 2 to 3 foot boat wakes. Come and enjoy the fireworks tonight.

We fished all day Friday thru the 2/3 ft waves .... Caught a lot of fish .........
