Had a great time with Lake Fork guide Greg West recently as he was kind enough to let us tag along with him to film a day-on-the-water. Greg showed us what he's been doing up shallow when the deep bite gets tough.

I almost always assume the big bites are only out deep, so it was refreshing to see some successful shallow water tactics in action. Greg has been whacking 'em on swim jigs recently in key areas especially early and late.

excellent I ordered some of those D&M swimbaits from TW on Greg's advice. Now to see if I can catch fish with them like he can.
