I run Duckett rods and have decided that it's time to get rid of them and to try something else. I'm looking at getting 5 good rods that I can use for topwater, jigs, TX rigs, crankbaits/deep cranks, and flipping. Anyone have any suggestions? Also if anyone is interested in Duckett rods I have some. Pm me for details.

I have used lamiglas rods for over thirty years. I have other rods and have use about every top of the line rods and have never found any that are as good as Lamiglas. You need to look at their new Infiniti Rods.

Powell or 13 Fishing for me. The Omen Black's are pretty damn good for the money.

Falcon Lowrider or Cara are the answer to all your rod woes.

I would love to chat with you about some custom rods!!! you can have them built to your specs and even color combos. I used to swear by Cast-a-Way and Fenwick rods but when I was given my first custom rod, I switched over and now I get to rep a great company!!! Let me know if you are interested.

If you got the budget go with Power Tackle. Whats wrong with the Duckett's? I don't have any but am curious to know why you are changing.

What is it that you don't like about the Duckett's? They are pretty good sticks, particularly for moving baits. Changing to something else will basically be a lateral move for similarly priced rods. For jig and worm rods you can certainly do better than the Duckett's. I would spend my $ toward those type of sticks. Loomis and Power Tackle are a couple of the better choices.

Well...if you want my 2 cents...I would recommend veritas rods by Abu Garcia micro guides...I like to pair mine with a revo sx... Hey are very sensitive and have enough back bone to horse em out of the junk. Also, I like them because of the warranty 3 years on rods and 1 for the reels. Although I rarely break rods...sometimes things happen that are out of our control....for 9.95 and a few pictures they send you a new one no questions asked. I fished with just about every rod but it would kill me to have to warranty a kistler z bone or a carbon steel or a magnesium...I like to crank worm fish c rig jig fish and have just about everyone they make...
