My family's ranch is close by. I fish it occasionally. Bass are all right. Better luck for Crappie and/or sunfish working along the docks up near the North end. Not a lot of structure in the main body. A buddy that used to live in Kilgore said that it was a great lake to go diving in. No place to buy live bait so bring your own.
