I woke up wide-awake this morning and could not go back to sleep I was a little late but I'm headed to water. I wish I would've gotten there at sunrise this morning I arrived at 9:30 and for about an hour and a half caught a fish almost every cast. Not many really big fish but probably could've culled a limit of Sandbass. The only other person on the river showed me some pictures from last night right at dark because several stripers in the 4 to 8 pound range. I knew as good as it was by the time I got there it was lights out at sunrise today. So looks like I will be heading back first thing in the morning and get there early this whole doing a remodel at my work and having two months off might not be too bad haha every fish I caught today was on a size 2 blue and white Clouser.

well I went again this morning it was really good again Sandbass were a lot bigger today would've had no problem getting a easy limit. The river is full of baitfish and these fish are fat and feeding. A lot of 6 to 14 inch striper caught one this morning that was about 4 pounds but made its way back to the water while I was trying to get my phone out of my drybox. Caught half a dozen small mouth I had to take a picture of that little one you can see those little suckers chasing shad and minnows all over that river looks like it had a really good successful reproduction of smallmouth will be some really good fishing in the next few years. All in all another great day on the water.

A buddy and I went today well this evening anyway. the smallmouth restoration has done an amazing job I have caught a bunch of them in the last week. We caught a ton of stripers and smallmouth I caught one really nice largemouth. We were the only people on the river with absolutely beautiful scenery. Heck I may go again tomorrow lol.

Not me. I was there from 6:45am till about noon

Ah we didn't get there till 6:30 pm. I have had a blast out there this last week for Sure three mornings two evenings. Did you go up from the road or down.
