I just installed a new Lowrance HDS 7 & 9 on the boat. I am taking it out for the first time this weekend. Any advice on how to set up the initial settings or initial new user tips????

Go to Lowrance and watch their videos on it. That will help for initial use. Youtube has some videos also.

Play with it before you get on the water, leave the unit in the default / auto modes and call me if you have any questions.
