I have tried looking many sites and searches but nothing local comes up. Does anyone know a shop/store that sells trailers? Preferably assembled, but even if not - a kit is fine.

I would like to buy on the spot, not order.

Any kayak shop can help you out with that! Probably about the only place to buy one locally than ordering one over the net.

You can also check with Harbor Frieght for their trailers as well if you don't want to morgage your home.

Just want to toss out the idea of getting a utility trailer (from any of the trailer stores) and adding a rack for your yak(s)...

Gives you the chance to get some other use from the trailer when you aren't fishing.

I've gone that route and have been very happy with it.

I have a Malone trailer with the retractible tongue, it's a good trailer.

Check with Shane Russell on the kayak forum. He might still have his all aluminum trailer. It is a very nice trailer.
