I just got my jon boat lake ready, and have been trying hard to find the crappie on Lake Lewisville. I have not been lucky so far using both jigs and minnows. Anyone have some "hot spots" they might reccomend? I dont have a fish finder in budget right now. I was thinking next time I go out, maybe the docks at the marina?
How deep are you fishing them?

What kind of fish finder electronics do you have? Without it, your search will be very difficult - unless you stick to the bridges, and timber!

I dont have a fish finder right now, but, it is on the short list.
