In the last few week the bite has really tough,they are on brush but it's like pulling teeth to get them to commit to the jig.they just short strike it.managed a couple good ones on Sunday.fished about ten docks and not one bite.they were on docks right after the rain but it seems they have moved off them

Man, I haven't found them stacked on brush at all on LA. They aren't deep and they aren't on brush in 8 to 21 feet so they must be shallow or roaming/chasing Shad. That's my own opinion. LA fishes a lot like GV and Texoma. I'm not saying you can't catch a few on brush, but they aren't stacked like they should be this time of year. We need some 100 degree days to get them stacked up.

Your right stucky they should be stacked up deep on brush by now, I'm seeing just few on brush and they are not very interested in biting.

it's all this weird rainy spell and cool summer so far. I've been fishing LA in the summer for about 5 years now.i always fished the BP's. do they hang around the boat slips in the summer too? i would like to learn dock shooting.

I was doing well on them shortly after the rain. But haven't caught any off them the last couple trips.
