Thinking about switching to this for my cranking rods. How is the memory and knot strength? Anyone have an opinion that uses it?

Good line. McCoys Mean Green is better. Probably have to find it online but its better line and doesn't develop memory as bad as the BG. It holds up longer under UV too.

Been using it for a long time and have never had an issue. Best part about Triline Big Game is it's cheap and you can afford to re-spool often. I use mainly 12 or 15 lb line for most of my uses.

Probably the best all round line on the market for the price.

I have found the memory on this to be terrible. Not a fan.

I have found the memory on this to be terrible. Not a fan. Back in the day I used BG exclusively. I had the same problem. I found if you will keep your reels out of the direct sunlight it will solve this problem or help with it. For the rods on your deck take a towel and just throw it over the reels and turn your reels upside down. This is a must in the Texas summer sun.

I have found the memory on this to be terrible. Not a fan. I spray mine down with kvd line conditioner before every trip and never have an issue with memory. In fact its almost non existent. I love BG and will continue using it!

$6.95 for BG and then buy KVD for $10?
I think I will stick with Sufix for $8.95.

The memory is really bad but if you use conditioner and stretch your line it'll go completely limp again. I've stretched the same spool of line at least 20 times before to get the memory out, it's always worked and it's never seemed to effect the line strength.
