I went out to Waco on this past Saturday (27 June 14). I went to my normal launch spot (Midway) and was not able to even get in the gate. There was a lock on the gate. I'm not sure if any places were open to put in since the lake was so high. I went across the bridge and it was more of the same. On a different note, I pass over the Belton Dam and the gate was open and water was flowing. I noticed about 6 boats and 1 jet ski on the lake. I'm not sure where they put in at. The closest place was Frank's marina.

Yes, most Corp lakes are still closed. But Waco will be open soon.

Speegleville and Koehne are open now. I drove down to Speegleville yesterday and the Wednesday bass tourney was just starting.
