What a way to end a four day weekend thumb

. I got to go to Lake Tawakoni with Jeff Craft and his friend Gary and we met up with the Dr Whiplash and Ladies Man Ray, Gene Champion Fish , DJTripleR And Russ and his Family for a fish off on the big eastern lake Tawakoni . We got there right after day light and found some good topwater fishing and it was pretty darn epic
banana
We went in at noon with a live well full of fish and Jeff, Gary and I ended up catching around 30 Keeper Hybrids and 10 or so under size ones. Jeff had big fish on our boat at 24 inches. I also caught two 20 inch Striped Bass and we got over 50 big Sandbass . I don't know how the other boats did but they were catching fish too. Big Shout out to Matt Cartwright for the info and tips. Good to see you today. Also ran into Diel1 and Joe Read and talked a little while with Tony Parker . It was a good day and there were several boats but everyone was nice and having a blast. We were putting a hurting on the fish with tackle from Mike Oser at MoesTackleshop.com Good seeing everyone and can't wait to do it again.

WOW! Heck of a day right there!

Hubbard was tough again today. One good sign is we found heavy concentrations of fish in 3 areas but got very few to bite. Found one good school of Hybrids (no doubt in my mind they were based on what I was seeing on my graph) but once again they wouldn't bite. Hopefully that's a good sign though seeing fish all stacked up instead of scattered out like they have been recently.

Keith it was great meeting you today and thanks to you and Jeff for letting me tag along. Had a lot of fun, even with a bad tooth.

Yessir Plano a great way to end a weekend at lovely Tawakoni .... Left Carrollton round 3:45am this morning to make it by daylight to the Holiday Marina which by the way are going above and beyond customer friendly service cheers Dad had a golf cart shuttle to grab the truck and trailer as we pulled up to the dock clap The improvements are from the sign out front as you turn in to the end of the boat ramps ..keep it up Holiday Marina! Had a blast from the time we heckled Mr. Joe Reed at 5:30 this morning right after his wknd call in to Brian Hughes ...to the time we rapped it up at the dock chatting with Matt and Michael as we ended the day with good catches of hybrids and a few good looking baby stripers. Fun fishing next to ya Keith /Jeff /Gary ... Gene/Ruben ... Russell/Brian/miss Shelby/mr King !!! PS. sorry(medic911) we missed you Skippy! Will make it up in a little over a month from now when we Fly da' coop.

It was a great trip. We were on fish schooling for about 3 hours with many boats chasing them down.

Looks and sounds like you had a great long weekend! Bet that was a blast to get on those heavy hybrids, plus numbers to keep you busy, all the while avoiding the boat traffic.
