ALL THE IDIOTS THAT FEQUENT THE OTHER DFW LAKES HAVE DESCENDED ON RAY HUBBARD BY THE MILLIONS BECAUSE ITS PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY DFW LAKE OPEN RIGHT NOW. PREPAIR TO SPEND A GOOD PART OF YOUR DAY WAITING IN LINE AT THE BOAT RAMP WHILE THEY TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THIER BOAT COVER OFF, PUT THIER PLUG IN, START THIER MOTOR, AND THE HARDEST PART OF ALL..........BACKING DOWN THE RAMP. AND LETS DONT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE ONES I SAW TODAY GASING UP THIER JET SKIS ON THE RAMP AFTER THEY HAVE UNLOADED THEM FROM THE TRAILER AND BEACHED THEM ON THE RAMP.

FISH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! ITS A JUNGLE OUT THERE!

WOW Drove over the bridge at 5:00 boats everywhere going all directions NUTS.

I was just on the North end all by my lonesome of course there's no fish up there but it was peaceful

can't wait to do this on 4th of July weekend........ it's gonna be so incredible

why can't tpwd or police ticket people for beaching on a boat ramp or blocking the ramp. If not backing you should not be near the ramp.

Drove by the 66 ramp today around 7 and it was insane.

I actually saw a guy pull out after loading his wakeboard boat up and head west on 66 with his whole family still in the boat, on the trailer, lol


As for fishing goes, the lake is as tough as I have seen in the past 8 years or so, fish are really scattered.

I have been catching the whites and hybrids pretty good...as for bass one here and there. No pattern at all. I have just started fishing the lake but haven't caught more than one largemouth per trip.

Ray Hubbard this very hard right now. One or two bass per day

I fished Ray Hubbard today:
- fishing was hard
- Boats were EVERYWHERE
- all that was mentioned above about the boat ramps is true..... Took over an hour to get my boat out of the water at HWY 66 in Rockwall. People were beaching their boat on the ramp (even while they were retrieving their truck), tying off on the dock (and staying there while they got their truck).... All the while, the line of trucks and trailers waiting grew. One guy had a ski boat tied off on the dock in very shallow water on the "single lane" side of the ramp. When he backed his trailer in, it hit his boat. There was a LONG line (including my self) waiting to back our trailers in....he had to skip all of us because so many folks were yelling at him for blocking the ramp. If you want to fish Ray Hubbard, go on a week day and find the most expensive ramp on the lake to avoid the idiots. Personally, I will not be fishing Ray Hubbard again for a while due to the nonsense.

Hubbard is fishing as poorly as any lake around. I was out Saturday and it was an ugly mess at the ramp. My advice too is to avoid the lake on weekends.

Maybe I should make extra money by having a Uber boat ramp service. I'll back your boat in $5, park your vehicle $2 bring you your keys. For full service $10 text me when you are headed in......lol.
