Well I left Dallas this morning at 5:15am arrived in Grand Rapids airport at about 12 o'clock drove the 167 miles to Traverse City was on the water by 300ish looking for fish until about 30 minutes ago all the carp I spotted were in full spwan mode but the sheer size of some of these fish is unbelievable I got some pretty good video that I will try to edit together - The smallmouth are up as well so I plan to target those one evening and check for the carp again at another location later in the week I only have evenings/early mornings to fish as I'm up here for work
Much more fish activity then I saw two weeks ago

Lots of excitement for the moon light hex hatch. I might get a shot tomorrow night - I am so close to the river but so far from the fish frown

Couple of smallmouth - I saw a massive carp but they where cruising / spawn mode
