Fished with an old fishing buddy and we had a great time. We managed to put thirty bass in the boat. Top water, T/R plastic and wacky plastic fished a lone the grass edage was the ticket. How ever, we did get a few out deep. Saw some schooling action here and there but couldn't get any of them to take our bait. Over all day was fun, biggest bass was 5.6 pounds. Gotta get back out there why the bite is on.

Went back out on Saturday the 27th with another guy, we put sixteen nice 3 ponders in the boat in an hour. All caught on top water bait right before sunset. That was a blast. I had a few blow ups ten feet from the boat. We also had two double hook ups. You know it's on when you can do that. My buddies 7 yr. old was tired, so we called off the trip as a huge thunder storm approached quickly. This was not a planed trip, it started out as my family get together at the park, knee boarding, swimming and a picnic, but the last minute fishing trip with my fishing buddy and his son was a bonus.
