I am looking at buying a new Legend and was looking for public opion. I do not know much about this company, but I hear that the boats are getting good reviews. My question is would you buy from a compony that has not been aroud very long and risk that the compony would go out of bussiness and then you would be left holding the bag? If the this happens do you lose the warrenty on the motor and the electronics?

I would take a tour of the factory (and will in Feb) to see how they are built and materials list. Take the list of materials to Mike at North Texas fiberglass to see if they are decent. The motor would be okay from any factory authorized dealer as well as the electronics.
Shoot them an e.mail and the VP Lee Yowell should respond. He actually lives in Ennis and is on the same deer lease with an ex co worker of mine.

Red, I have heard the same thing. I know a friend of a friend who bought a Legend and had a problem with the boat and the owner came out twice to fix the problem, the first problem was with the hull and they pored him a new one the second problem was with the setup and now he is a happy camper. Not too many owners would personally take care of the problem. THAT IS ANOTHER RESONE THAT I LIKE LEGEND.

That boat will probably be the talk of the show.. At the Mesquite show Bowie Marine sold all their Legends they had on hand last time. Jvon and Tubby each bought one......

Acouple of the guys in my club have Legends and they are one smooth ride in rough water. They are awesome boats. Only thin that is questionable is the storage.

C-man.
Swillis on here (best friend) just got his LE199 Alpha Series with a 225 Pro XS....it screams. Whenever he finally decides to test the spare prop that I have (one of these days) (I know he'll read this post) he will probably figure out a way to marry it.
Great boat, teamed up with solid management and awesome looks. One of the best looking rigs you'll see on the road. It just looks sharp sitting on the trailer.

WHAT the <censored> is up with thos 20" rims w/low profile tires on the trailers? There were several there... boat itself sits very high (to me).. wonder what that does to the center of gravity <shrug>

By the time that you get far enough down the ramp to float the boats on the trailer with the 20" rims your truck will be floating too. The Purple & white metalflake boat was the best looking boat at the show as was the black & orange monstor the uglist boat there. Johnny

That 300 Stroker looked mean. I'd love to take it for a spin on a big open lake and really open it up. It'd be one of those rides where you had a snot line runnin back to your ears.

I am also a Legend owner. I have an LE 21 with a 250 xs on the back. I have no complaints at all with the boat. Smooth ride and move through the water well also. GPS'ed 79.2 on CC Wednesday. I have not had a problem with the storage. I am the world's worst about having too much in the boat. I have yet to run out of space. Nicely finished boat. If you get to look at them and ride in them, check out the work that was put into the back of the boat where the gas tank and batteries are. That will tell you how much pride they take in what they produce.

I have followed the developement of Legend Boats since before they even started.
I am very, very familiar with Legend. I will go on record and say that they are very good boats. I wouldn't hesitate buying one at all if I was in the market for a new boat.
Randy Qualls has done a great job bringing first class quality to these boats.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate calling.
Can anyone tell me *why* the 20" rims? I know it wasnt just for the show as the spare's were mounted under the boats on the trailers... Why would anyone around here, with the lake levels as they are want a trailer that sets the boat up an extra two or 3 inches? Is this the new look waiting for the sea's to rise from Global warming hehehe <shrug> As stated the boats look really nice.. just curious... tha BassRustler

It's just for the look. Some people like the bling on the wheels, that's all.
Some people don't care about the added height.
