 BASS / FLW and nets

Maybe I missed something. Does BASS allow you to net your catch? I never see them bring them in with a net, they almost always swing em on. However watchin FLW they always seem to use a net. Seems to me using a net would be better for all.

The elites do not use nets. In the bass opens you can. Flw you can use a net.

The net thing started many years back with BASS when amateurs use to fish with the pro's. The pro's complained about them hollering get the net to often on small fish. So nets were out and each person had to get their own fish in the boat. That is all it was.
