6th Sense makes some great products. I like their squarebills a lot, 2nd to my Xcaliburs. I don't have a lot of experience with their deep divers, only because I have a fortune in XDs and don't need to try anything else right now. I'm sure they are great though.

They seem to have less drag than other cranks that size. I've had better luck on the 300s but I've prolly thrown those more.

I've been impressed.....BigBassJake is correct about the "less drag". Colors look good and they hold up well.

Bought one last year ..... just one.....to test. Haven't caught anything on it yet....probably just my luck. The bait is finished nicely and gets deep quickly. It looks a lot like the old Excalibur Fat Free shad deep diver. So far, consistently down to 20 foot on 20lb. braid with a 16 lb. fluoro leader. Its heavy so you'll need a long heavier action rod to cast it properly. All in all I think its a good lure for deep crankin'.....just need to throw it more. texas

I used a few the other weekend, but did not get bit, my partner got bit on a 10XD, and I switched to 10XD and got bit too. It could have been due to color patern, as I was throwing a smoke color and he was throwing a sexy shad. I also switched to a white crank instead of a smoke color. I did have a sexy shad 500 DD but I saw what was working and went with it.

In my opinion the 10XD goes a just a few feet deeper, like 2 or 3 feet. I feel I could hit bottom with 10XD easier.

I did catch a monster crappie on a 500 DD, it had a mouth the size of a tennis ball.

They fill a nice gap in depth from other deep cranks, different size/style of lure with a bigger eye, and they catch fish.

I have won more money off 6th Sense crank baits than all other baits combined. Personally, I just haven't unlocked the ultra deep crank bait bite. When they get that deep I usually find myself throwing a big jig or swimbait. I just need to spend more time doing it I guess. As far as the lure itself, it'll be tough to beat the construction and quality. Colors are fantastic, they run true out of the box, and the finish will hold up. If you have a color they don't make, you can have them custom painted. Awesome bait company all the way around.

They really like them on Toledo Bend. I just posted a good picture on Instagram of an 8lber this week that choked one this week. Like others said they have less drag than the other brands, but they still get really deep and have great action.

What Darold said!!! I went with him a week or so ago and was able to fish it side by side with the 8XD and 10XD and it has less drag and Great colors and nice hooks as well, came home and ordered one of each color.

How deep have you guys got the 300 DD and the 500 DD? The 300DD runs about 14 ft max for me and the 500 DD don't run any deeper than a 6XD. They are awesome crankbaits, not running them down at all..just curious how deep you guys are getting them to go.

Everybody will have a different experience based mainly on line size. What size line are you throwing? I can get a 300DD and 6xd down to 17' on 12lb fluoro. I've never thrown a 500DD.
