Have some time to get away tomorrow morning and wanting to take out the kayak. Are any of the lakes accessible within an hour of FW? Looking to target some crappie, whites, or LMB.

Marine creek, Arlington, I believe Benbrook, Alvarado, Cleburne. Not sure about Worth and Eagle mountain though.

Tips for Benbrook? Fished it a few times and have yet to pull a fish out of there.

Don't listen to Nathan. He is one of those guys that could catch a marlin out of a septic tank.

One of the "bubbas" at the can recycling place in Cleburne told me that his "frins" were "ketchin' all kinds of fish" at Cleburne State Park, now that the water has settled out. May have to check it out, after the temperature takes that steep 4-degree drop!
