That much water for that long will certainly change up the river a little but that is the fun part!

oh yeah! everytime they go to letting out a bunch of water for periods of time it seems to change

It sure would be nice to be able to get back on that section of river to see how it has changed.Below PK looks very doable though...

Granbury flow has finally dropped to an exceptional 900 cfs. Was out yesterday and found these guys comfortable in the new water.

How do you get behind the granbury dam? I thought it was all privately owned.

BRA used to maintain a parking area several hundred yards downstream of the dam on the north side of the river. That area is now closed to vehicle traffic but is accessible by foot. From there one has to navigate a fairly steep decent to the river. Doesn't really encourage public access but that is the only one I know of until reaching US67.
