This is my Albino Kingsnake in Blue Phase. Blue means she's about to shed. As you can see the Blue glaze over her eyes.

I've always wondered if that "glaze" over the eyes affects their vision. Do you know?

Sorry for the delay. I didn't see your question before. It does. They can't see near as well. And they typically don't move much because of it, but it clears up in a couple days, then they shed. My Garter snake is by far my most active, but when he has the glaze he never moves unless he has to and then he is more jumpy/flighty as he's not sure what's going on.

My Cal King is getting big. She's a sweetheart. Couple pic from tonight.
