I have been a big fan of LFT Ringfrys for many years. My favorite weightless or C-rig bait of all time. Don't seem to find them in retail shops anymore. Used to just get them @ Academy. Anyone know of stores carrying them around DFW? Also I've been a fan of the garlic scent built in. That impregnated scent lasts longer than any bait I've used. You can smell it while casting a bait that has been hooked up all day long. I picked up a couple bags @ Lake Fork Marina the other day and they were completely "scent free". Smelled like...nothing. Have they done away with the scent in the Ringfry's?

Why didn't you run into Emory and buy thrm at the source? I love the Ring Frys and always get some tips on what the fish are biting..... and the stock is fresh. Just a thought. I have a hard time finding them at Academy.

LFT are out of most of the good color and I am not sure if they are planning on continuing this line anymore....

Sabigfish, why would you think that LFT won't continue the Ring Fry line?

So does anyone know why the Ringfrys I bought at LF Marine were completely scent free?

How could we possibly know why? Old I guess. Pretty sure all their stuff has a garlic scent.

Call em and ask em.

My wife works at Lake Fork marina. LFM buys Lake Fork Tackle products directly from the LFT store in Emory.

Drop by the store in Emory and show them to the owner. I bet that Ronnie will give you a couple bags on the house if you got some that didn't stink.
