After seeing, then making and using his "Bream Killers", I thought I would add some legs to a jig???

Have done that before also on some bream jigs. Think that will work for you, nice job!

I think the crappie will think craw fish as well. I use a Hot Orange tail for that on my little Roadrunners if the lake is stained or if I stumble one some on the nest shallow. They really do love that Hot Orange tail then.
If you tie that on a small jig for bream, it would be good too I think!
