Go to ebay and search lowrance repair. They can repair some units.

Lowrance no longer repairs them Did they tell you you could upgrade to the same or bigger one? I thought my HDS 8 died, and it's way out of warranty and called them. For 500$ I could get a refurbished "8" or for 800$ I could upgrade to the "10"

Thanks ill look into these I hate to just trash it one guy I have talked to said to look into raymarine he says that they are better than anything out there
