My recent tournament outings have left me quite humbled to say the least. I've found myself being a pot contributor and if I turn in anything to weigh, it's a rare thing. So I've decided to take a step back and approach things from a different angle. I'd like to start with more education and reading more books.
Can yall suggest any good bass fishing books that are a must have? A good friend of mine let me borrow KVD's Bass Strategies, and I'm currently in the middle of that, but I'd like to have more books to fill in the gaps.

Mike Iaconelli and Jay Yelas have good reads, anything Rick Clunn writes about you can take to the bank as well!

Agree re the Ike book, whether you like him or not. The book is instructive.

There is some good info if you search this topic using the search tab. Not sure if saw the post on "funnel points what did John Hope mean" but really good info not found any books in the detail given by TFF members. Diagrams and commentary pretty fasicinating stuff. Buck Perry's 9 volume home steady course is great and john Hopes book. Plus go to itainttv.com to look at the professors Wilson Frasier, dvd's on sonar and GPS. He was featured in the last 3 or 4 bassmaster mags. He sells buck Perry's books as well. Plus he encourages his students to call or write him, not just a customer but a student. Well worth the money. Guides on fork know who he is if you want references. Lance Vick is one.
