I know I know it's a rodnreel topic but I wanted to see if you Catfishers have used them. If so What's your thoughts?

I don't use a lot of surf stuff like the magnums, but the bnm rods in general look like quality stuff and at a reasonable price. They look worth giving a try.

Others that I like:

Pro Angler, hard to find bad reviews great rods.

MondoCat, meat hunter blank I believe, closer to a med action than med/heavy, I like mine a lot. Stainless guides and rod seats good action and strong.

Tangling with catfish. Red Whisker whip is the med/heavy and that's what I have. They make a blue series that's too heavy for what I do. Awesome rods for quality, best I've seen. Heavy stainless guides that can take abuse and stainless reel seat. My favorite big fish rig.
