Sometimes I do. But then again I very seldom carry on my person anyway.
I need to carry more cause I sure would be hating it if I needed it and it was in the truck.

Last thing I heard was it was prohibited on Corp Lakes to have a Single Projectile weapon. I do not know how the CHL would be affected by this?

Always have it. Hope I never need it but it seems like a necessity these days.

Sometimes I do. If I'm staying after dark I'll carry it on me. You never know what you are going to find when you get back to the ramp and your truck at 3 a.m.

No. I haven't ever wished I did either. Lol. I mean.... Give me a scenario, where on the water bass fishing, that you would want or need it.

Always. It's not on the water where I'll ever think I'll need it. It's because of some of the individuals I've seen lurking around ramps when I come in or go out.

I pulled up to the Hwy 64 ramp at Lake Tyler right at dark. Some sorry looking guy came out of the woods walking right at me. I don't know what he had in mind but I'm pretty sure it wasn't good. For some reason when he got within a few steps of me he veered away. I was wearing my pistol in a shoulder holster. He couldn't see it and didn't know I was carrying, but he would have found out soon enough.

corps lakes are considered federal property, which means you can't carry CONCEALED, them allowing you to hunt is not concealed. I always check who the governing body is before I go.

Unfortunately there are those out there that would take your life for a few dollars or something to pawn. On the lake, at the ramp or anywhere else. If you are faced with the situation how else will you defend your life?

I do, on any lake, anywhere. It's not on my body but it's in my boat. Was told once by state park police that CHL trumps laws governing centerfire weapons being banned from certain bodies of water. Never looked it up but nevertheless I carry.
