What are some good rod holders that I could mount on my Perception Striker for Catfishing/Striper? Some that I can remove the holder without the base when I want to catch bass. The ones at academy seem legit but I wanna see if I can get away without spending $70 on two rod holders. Thanks!

I'm using them on my yak after trying other brands and they work great!

I just bought 2 Railblaza rodholder II's and installed them last night. I am going out tonight to try them out, but I think this would be right up your alley on what you want. I am catfishing tonight, but wanted to be able to remove for bass fishing like you. Plus with the railblaza system you can use the bases to fit any of their products.

This photo shows how small and out of the way Bee Ready holders are. I'll even use one when bass fishing, it's a great place to quickly put your rod while you're taking your fish off and getting pictures and even re rigging.

It appears that he has them in the rail system. I looked on Bee Ready's website, but did not see that configuration.

I do have them on my rail system, they work on the Yak attack gear track and the native rails.
Anyone interested in what's required shoot me a PM and I'll try and help you out.

Yeah, i've mounted them to rails before but i do not have rails on my kayak. I wonder if I could mount the bases directly to the kayak?

BeeReady sells rails for your kayak. I actually went to their store to have them show me the actual configuration. Thinking about adding to my kayak but, they're very proud of them.

G Love, you mentioned not wanting to spend $70 on a couple rod holders then, beereadys are definitely not for you.

Yak Attack has several options on rails that will work. I've used the wide and narrow and both materials with success .
