Th marine makes it think it's called g force or something like that supposed to help make your tm quieter

How do you know it works and what does it do to make you think it works?

I have one. Makes the unit much quieter and also basically stops any vibration when your running on high.

The makers of Hyrdowave put a video on youtube about sounds underwater. And they recorded the sound of a TM with a normal prop nut and then this fancy one. The sound difference was amazing. Check out the video below. Also just watch the whole thing the other things they test are awesome.

At 2:25 they have the trolling motor without the Eliminator prop nut
at 11:00 they have it with.

The difference is vast!

I have one. Picked it up from the Angler's Pro Shop/LFT in Emory. It makes it a whole lot easier to take the prop off and check for fishing line. I'll leave it to the experts on the sound, but if you're ever in a situation on the water where you need to get the prop off the TM, I think this will be nice to have. I was worried about additional weight slowing the prop down, but haven't had any issues in big wind. My 2cents is that it works and is not a gimmick.

I plan on adding the sound damper and quick release latch to my TM. Just haven't gotten around to it.

I have one. It's called The Eliminator. I bought mine form Shut-Up-And-Fish a few months ago. I have a Motor Guide 109 motor and at some mid to high speeds it made a high pitched squeal. The Eliminator stopped this noise. I think it has something to do with there being an O-ring that cushions the prop blade. Made a big difference for me. Also I have a metal prop. That might be part of the issue with the squeal. Either way the Eliminator fixed the problem.

I think it was $54.

Anything to increase the stealth factor. May increase TM life too.

I have one as well, and they do work. DecreaseD sound and vibration. I have to look sometimes to see if it is turning. Worth the $50 IMHO.
