I posted several days ago about my boat having issues with making power at altitude. (115 Optimax, Nitro Z6) I've since acquired a 20p Laser II prop (down from 22p Laser II) to help it turn more RPM at WOT. My question is, what is the sweet spot for RPMS to rev to coming out of the hole before the prop "bites" and takes off? I'm wanting to replace the PVS plugs to tune the prop. Or, is there no right answer, it's a "feel" thing? Thanks in advance!

The right answer is you gotta find it. Good part is it's simple. With a full fishing load go hit it and start yanking plugs one at a time until it blows out, then replace the last plug and you're done.

Good deal, sounds simple enough. Thanks.
I was assuming this due to a ton of variables with individual setups. Thanks again

just remember one thing.. a stock laser II has very little cupping to it.. which will make the prop blow out sooner. betchya one plug out will be close with that prop
