So how many of you tow your boats with the sonar unit mounted at the bow. I have always pulled mine off but it can be a pain sometimes. I don't think you can leave the suncover on it because it will eventually come loose and land on the side of the road. I wish they made some type of cover or bag that you could slip over it and secure with Velcro straps. So do you tow with it or remove it.

I never take mine off the boat. I do make sure the knobs are tight because I had one loosen up once and almost lost it. I figure the one on the bow is protected by truck and the one on the dash by the windshield.

Only tow mounted if local. Covers secured with small bungee straps. Any distance they come off. No need to give someone free HDS 10's to steal or replace.
