got some fathers day goodies from the kids today and this is the ribbon that was on one of the gifts. can't wait to get this on a bait. i think it's thin enough and will be easy to put on.

Things really come full circle, young kids are more excited by the wrapping paper, bow, and box; while a seasoned lure painter get's excited over the ribbon.

how right you are. completed six of your baits. working on the other four now. weather here has been awful for painting. the humidity has been unreal. i'm doing pairs of patterns so if ones working and you loose it you'll have a backup. sticking to the primary delta craw colors of red, black and orange and variations of those. here's one before eyes, details and clear coating. it's getting some great reviews around here. hope you like it. let me know if you don't so i can make adjustments. sorry about the quality of the pic. i couldn't get the iphone to stay focused. rick

That looks beyond great!!!!! You certainly didn't need to provide a status update in this thread, but I appreciate it!

I'm really feelin that top one BC. Outstanding. You should name the bottom one "Baby Steps". Looks like a lot of little feet with toes. roflmao

well @#!&*%$. yeah thats the little spinner. i really liked the blade that was on it and didn't want to do anything with it so i used those basic colors and did a tiny craw. with the spinner blade back on it should like a little fish chasing a tiny craw. hopefully some greedy bass will think it's an easy twofer and whack!!

here's a better look. everything on it was done without stencils...all freehand. it's a cute little bugger!

I'm liking how you guys are doing the little baits. I have something completely different in mind whenever I get back in the house.

Holy Molly BC...... I mean I really really like that. banana bannana2 woot clap thumb
It is a crying shame that Sebile can't come up with color schemes that good. Their baits are out of this world but so are their color schemes.
