Saw the rancher out there digging a big hole with some nice humps and structure about 2 months ago, lone and behold.... all this rain has filled this approx 3 acre pond to the tops!

Since it is so new, I don't believe there to be anything to catch, plus it's on private land. But I was really supirsed to see how he/she timed this pond so perfectly!

I've been looking at it too. I wasn't sure if he was building a pond intentionally or just using the dirt but it sure filled up fast and looks good. Being right there by the river, I'm sure he'll be having problems with trespassers if it ever gets stocked.
