BOTH UNITS SOLD
1 - 998C SI Combo with side scan transducer and Humminbird AS-GR50 GPS Module plus all the cables. $800

1 - 798 CI SI HD. This unit has an internal GPS and does NOT come with a transducer. I was running it thru my Minnkota trolling motor before. Comes with a stand up bow mount - $400

Both units had their software updated last weekend and are in perfect working and cosmetic condition and come with covers. They were on a garage kept boat. If someone wants both units I would take $100 off for a total of $1100 for both units.

PM me if you have any questions. Prefer face to face in Frisco/Plano or Lake Cypress Springs/Bob Sandlin area but also willing to ship.

yes, I obviously meant sidescan transducer. I also had a Lowrance structure scan transducer I was selling on another post. Basically I replaced my Humminbirds with new Gen 3 Lowrance units and ended up with an extra Structure scan transducer. So, that name was on the brain.

I have a Hummingbird 859cim HD DI and want a side imaging unit but I'm lost. My son says I need a different transducer to get the SI. I am willing to pay to get the different unit and have the older one given in exchange if I can get help on the install.d

for down imaging you use this transducer XNT 9 DI T

for side imaging you will need either XHS 9 HDSI 180 T or XNT 9 SI 180 T

your 859 is down imaging only if you get his 998 you will need the side imaging transducer.

My 998 comes with the side imaging transducer. Obviously it also does down imaging. The 798 I have does not come with a transducer.

The 798ci SI Combo's standard transducer is the Compact SI XNT 9 SI 180 T.
It can use the HDSI transducer XHS 9 HDSI 180 T for sharper images.
It does not give the 798 the 800 kHz Imaging capability.

Had a couple people ask. I do have the manuals for both units. They are also available on-line. These have been registered with Humminbird since the day I bought the boat. I have replied to all PMs

Yes, I still have both units. They were on the 2012 Legend that I bought in October of 2012 after the boat had been used by Dallas Baptist University's team for that season.

No idea on the number on the transducer. It just says HD SI on it and has a transducer shield on it.
