He did his stuff on my HDS 7 gen 3. Now it is so much better. There was so much wrong or backwards on my unit it wasn't even funny. The first thing wrong was that it was set backwards, it was displaying the images on the wrong side. Right showed up on the left, left on the right because of how the transducer was mounted. Now you would think that would be easy to spot but if you are looking at something that you've never seen before, how would you know? He cleared up the screens, made the right adjustments, etc.... We spent about 3 hours on Fork before the storms ran us off but it was well worth it.
I find and see the crappie, now I just have to catch them.
Slade is a down to earth guy who really knows these units. If you need some electronics help, PM him, he's Forkfish on the forums.
