Cant someone tell me how to remove the left sideplate bearing lock (part # BNT4145) from a Shimano Caenon 100 reel. I have never taken this reel apart before and have always seen the e-clip instead of this part.

Havent done any Caenan's personally but from looking at the schematic I would just try and pop it out with a small flathead screwdriver. being careful not to break it or have it go flying. But it probably should just pop right out.
