Wanting to switch. Can I mount an Ipilot on my bass boat without drilling new holes. Is there a bracket or can I build one to use the holes from my other trolling motor?

The slide on , lockable base that comes with an I Pilot can be drilled to fit most previous holes.

The slide on bracket is really helpful almost a must have for me

I had Philip from RSR Lures make me up a plate to match all my bass boat holes and then we put the rails so I could slide it back and forth. He has a standard one called the Slide Max or he may be willing to custom fabricate one for you like he did for me.

With the bass boats and their TM's, the holes are close to two/three feet in total length and the MK's base plate are only 14" in length so you could still have two sets of holes showing. You can note in my video that the base can be slid back to keep it from hanging over when launching or trailering. Another big plus.
