So I got the Lowrance Elite 4X for my kayak. I'm getting ready to mount everything.

My question is I have a Wilderness Pungo 120 sit inside.
The transducer is going behind my seat. I have a 10" clear space for it. The hull is a V, so will it mess up my readings if it's mounted at a slight angle? Or do I need to build up the epoxy so I can mount it dead center.

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.
