Even though the river is running hard and muddy,
after the sun goes down the lighted docks and the causeway are on fire. 4 of us fished for a couple hours throwing a 1/8oz jig head with a black and chartreuse curly tail, 18 to 24" below the surface catching 60+ fish with 25% + or - of them being black bass. Most of the crappie were around a pound. Good time with friends and family.

Anyway remember to stop by



It's the only Bar that I know of, where the barmaid has to stop selling beer, to sell you bait!

She said if the fish ain't bitting, you can always come back and get drunk. They kind of crazy down South.

Can't figure what causeway she could be referring to since the RR crosses Placid just below McQueeney.
