blacks are picking up. lots of little ones to be caught. soft plastics have been best for me lately. seems like they are sticking to cover pretty tight. early on, shallow trees. later the same but litte deeper and also they hang on rock piles, 10-20'.
the deep bite hasnt picked up for me yet. im looking for it to get better soon though.

As for blacks Coyotabass is right on. Striper and Whites good at the dam and SanPadro, on slabs and top water, just follow the birds! Whites are good size, stripers are small. I did see pics yesterday that Reeling Ray posted he had a couple of Hawgs, taged them Hydrila Hawgs, where is his secret. And I don't blame him...
