Shout out for the Lake Fork Sportsman Association ! Two days away!! If you've never fished an hourly catfish tournament you are missing out. They pay 4 places every hour starting at $400 for first place and down to $100 for fourth. Just takes one fish to win! They have seen 4 pound catfish win money some hours! And double digit fish will usually land you big money! It's out of Oak Ridge Marina. lakeforksportsmansassociation.com Registration is 3-9 pm tomorrow and you can also register on Sat and Sun. 903-497-6887

Come by Mark and I have a booth at oak ridge,Mark has some great bait tank chemicals and I will have plenty of bait on hand.Would like to meet some of you guys.Great fishing

dang, Ive been busy and forgot that the catfish classic was upon us... Guess Ill have to miss it again... Yes it is a FUN tournament... I have done it 3 times and paid for the trip once with a $300.00 hourly! IIRC the fish was only about 4 lbs too. Be sure you have a radio so you can listen to the coverage and the current weights so you can make your decision!

I'll make it back down there one of these years. That is a fun tournament to fish for anyone that can fish it.

Right now a 9.75 is leading for the top prize with a 9.26 in second. Wide open for Sundays final day. A 7 something in 3rd, 6's in 4th thru 7th.

Stubby is right a 10:7? blue won it. It took a 8:39 to win 7th place
