We are fishing the Alan Henry Working Man's T on Friday, June 19th. $20 entry fee and optional $5 big bass pot. Fish from 6:30PM to 10:30 PM with you in line with your fish at 10:30. I will count down to 10:30 weigh in at the Crappie Dock. Look to see you there.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Had 9 people show up to fish the Working Man's T. Tuff fishing greated most the anglers. Only 3 people weighed fish. First place was Zach Walker with 3-15 with a big fish of 2-0. He caught his fish by using a deep diving CB in schools of suspended fish. Rick Bennett was 2nd with 2-13 on 2 fish. He caught his late around 9:45 on a black buzzbait. One more fish was caught by Harry Dunn on a T-rigged rattlesnake. That was it. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

AH is just not fishing well at all since the rise to full pool. I believe the rise hit right before or at spawn and has just thrown everything out of whack. Or at least that's what I am telling myself so I sleep better at night.

We had 6-8" spots slap at topwaters, got one half way to boat before he pulled off (think my drag was too tight).
Other than that we just couldn't get bit.

Thad and I caught one fish all night. Had maybe 1 or 2 more bites. Tough is an understatement. Lake level needs to stabilize and find a level to stay at for a couple of weeks.
Yesterday was the only time I've been out this year and not caught a few fish on topwater right at dark.
Zach seemed to have them figured out a little better than everyone else. I think he said he boated 7 or so fish.

Yes I think I am going to take this time to have some work done on the boat and let the lake settle down a while. Have an issue when I hit the throttle the motor will stall out on me. I have to put it in neutral and rev the motor a little bit (I call it clearing it's throat) then hit the throttle and it will go. Took a little video of it with my phone so I can show the guys at Advance exactly what it is doing. That and see if they can get my gauges all working.

Caught one spot (16", 1.3#) on Friday evening at about 7:30p on a white swim jig. Had a few more bites on the swim jig and a two hits at a zara spook.... that was it. I tucked my tail and quit at 9:15p. Saturday morning was about the same - caught two dinker spots, one on a spook just after sunrise and the other on a white swim jig about 11a.
Spent a lot of time in Little Grape. Didn't get a nibble on anything else I threw - crankbaits, TX rig, shaky head, spinnerbait. Fished all kinds of depths and structures. Crazy thing is I was marking all kinds of bait fish on the finder and even seeing a few big schools of bait fish.... So, I'm stumped.

The bass at AH never read the book we all read about where they should be and what they should be biting on. MOF, they have their own book and NO ONE has read it yet, heck no one has found it to read yet, or that is what some of us think. LOL. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Without a doubt the toughest lake I have ever fished. And living in Lubbock we just do not have any other real day trip lakes to hit.
