Hi everyone...I'm new to the fishing forum. I've been on the hunting forum for awhile and my golf game has gone to [censored] so I'm starting fishing again to take up my weekends. I'm not new to fishing but it's been awhile. My main question is does anyone know of any good spots to fish in the Rockwall area? Obviously Ray Hubbard but I'm not sure of where in particular I should be fishing there. Same applies for Lavon. Also, what are the best types of lures for bass this time of year? I'm not looking for you guys' hot spots or secrets, just somewhere I can throw a line out and maybe get a bite. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I know Ray Roberts is closed down. So is Joe Pool and Lewisville. Not sure about Ray Hubbard or Lavon. Im sure someone will chime in with some detailed info for ya. GL

You're welcome. Lake Athens was really hot last time I was there. I've been going east lately because of all the madness here.
