Does anyone know what all the dealer does when they do a yearly service? Going to buy a 05 HPDI 225HP Yamaha and needing to know what the dealer does for a yearly service. Going to do it myself to save money.

Start off with a complete water pump, lower oil change, fuel filter`s, the oil filter and spark plugs. You need to find out if the high pressure pump screen and the low pressure manual diaphragms have been serviced recently. If not do it. Unless you know the wheel bearings have been serviced recently, do it.

Water separator filter on the side of the engine, screen in the VST, high pressure filter on top of the VST.

I believe there is a screen for each injector. Those are a little more work to service. Mine have never been done and it's a 2004. Just stay on top of the others and you should be good.

Ok that is what I was wondering. I just want to do whatever it is that the dealer does when you take it in for the yearly servicing. I don't mind doing it and I want to save the money for other stuff. If I had a warranty than that would be different.
