If you are a Beetle Spin user, which size do you like best, 1/16 oz or 1/32 oz.?

If I'm fishing in a creek with lots of hangs I will usually fish the 1/32 oz so it sinks a little slower. In a pond or lake I use both.

Thanks J-Moe. Appreciate the reply. I caught the fire out of gills on one of those things bout a month ago and can't remember which size I was using. The next week, I couldn't buy a strike on one. I always replace the plastic on them with something else.

Bobby Garland has the 1.25" Itty Bit Swim R soft plastic which I think would be a terrific fit for a 1/32 out jighead. Next trip to BPS or Academy I plan to buy a pack to try out on big sunfish. Slurp!

1/16th oz will be a more universal weight for that rig. The Colorado blade will create a lot of lift the faster you retrieve the spinner. The heavier jighead will keep it in place a lot better, even if you are fishing shallow.

I use 1/16th simply because they cast better and are still small enough for a sunfish to take. Problem is nobody has them. I have to mail-order them.

Kjwolvy, you can buy the spinner part, with spinner sizes for 1/16 and 1/32 oz jigs at Walmart. Then buy the jigs separate. Put whatever kind of plastic you want on them. I like something with legs/tenicles that will wiggle.

I did find some 1/16 oz sizes at Gander Mountain but they were $1.99 each when they go for less than $1.00 at Wal-Mart and Academy ( but no 1/16 oz sizes). I think buying the separate parts and putting them together like fish 'till I drop said might be the better way.
